Malvern Local Attractions
The biggest attraction of Malvern is of course The Malvern Hills, an ancient range of rocks 15km long, which divides the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The Abbey is at the foot of the hills, making it the perfect base from which to explore.  The Three Counties Showground is a short distance from the hotel, and there are various exhibitions and shows throughout the year, including dog shows, horse shows and antique fairs.

Malvern Theatres
At the back of The Abbey you will find The Malvern Theatres. This features two 800 seat theatres and one 400 seat cinema showing a wide range of performances, from Shakespeare and Paradise Lost to the annual pantomime.  For more information on What's On, visit the Malvern Theatres website.  To book your accommodation at The Abbey, click here.

Eastnor Castle
Eastnor Castle is a few miles away from The Abbey and well worth a visit.  Apart from the castle itself there are many other interesting activities within the grounds, including: a deer park; children’s assault course and adventure playground; woodland and lakeside walks; maze; tea room and picnic area.

Worcester
You can easily spend a day in Worcester visiting the numerous attractions.  An obvious starting point is Worcester Cathedral which is one of England’s most delightful, with magnificent Victorian stained glass windows, an ancient crypt and medieval cloisters.  The Porcelain Factory is also worth a visit along with Worcester's shops, restaurants and bars.

Cheltenham Racecourse
Cheltenham is probably most famous for its racecourse, and more particularly the annual Cheltenham Festival which culminates in the Gold Cup.

Stratford
Stratford-Upon-Avon is famous for being the birthplace of Shakespeare.  Today Stratford is devoted to The Bard and his works.  You can visit his birthplace and burial site; see where he retired and where Anne Hathaway lived with his children.  It is also the ideal place to watch one of his plays in one of the many theatres, where the world famous Royal Shakespeare Company is resident.
