My Sarova adventure – The Abbey

Posted by Evi Karmou | Category : The Abbey

Hello everyone! Last but not least in my little adventure was the Abbey in Malvern. Based in Great Malvern in Worcestershire, the hotel is close to a number of interesting and historical cities.  Set right in the heart of the English countryside, at the foot of Malvern Hills, it is simply beautiful. Its views of the Vale of Evesham and the Malvern Hills are just sensational. Covered by brown ivy branches, the hotel looked something out of a Dracula movie. That added to its mysterious atmosphere! But in spring, when the Ivy turns green, it looks like a perfect painting! Big but cosy, I could see myself there in the winter sitting in the lounge/ bar drinking my tea and reading my mystery book! The best season to visit the...

My Sarova adventure – Sir Cristopher Wren

Posted by Evi Karmou | Category : Sir Christopher Wren

Hello everyone! After the Rembrandt and the Bull, it was time for me to visit the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa. Located very close to the rail station the hotel is really easy to find; one, two steps, and you are there. Set right by River Thames it has amazing views! One of its unique features is the fact that not all rooms are located in one building, but some of them in locations close by! It doesn’t even feel it’s a hotel! Despite its size the hotel has a really cosy atmosphere and people tend to visit it for their afternoon tea.  http://www.sarova.com/christopherwren/ One of the best features of the hotel is its spa. The Wren Club is an oasis of relaxation with treatment rooms on the 1st...

My Sarova adventure – The Bull

Posted by Evi Karmou | Category : The Bull

Hello everyone! My next Sarova adventure was at the Bull in Gerrards Cross (http://www.sarova.com/bull/)! Located in the charming town of Gerrards Cross, close to London, it is a perfect venue for meetings, and corporate or private events. The Bull used to be an old traditional English coaching tavern, and it still has the same charm and cosy feel. The best feature of the Bull is its lounge/ bar area, which looks over its beautiful gardens. I could sit there all day with my book chilling and drinking coffee! In the spring and summer, a BBQ in the gardens is a must! The hotel even has its own purpose-build brick BBQ. However, I have to say, the pub located inside the hotel is simply amazing! Did you know that they have...
