Wimbledon Tennis Championship

Wimbledon 2007 kicks off on Monday 25th June. Most tickets for centre court and courts 1 and 2 are sold via a public ballot however they do retain a small number which are sold on the day, however this usually requires overnight queuing. Otherwise you can queue during the day to get access to the other courts. For more information visit the website. Upton Jazz Festival 2007

Pomp and Pageantry

The British are renowned for their pomp and pageantry and this weekend certainly represents one of the best opportunities to experience this first hand. Trooping the Colour takes place on Saturday 16 June, an army event to celebrate The Queen’s official birthday, this year The Coldstream Guards will troop the Colour. On Sunday 17 June there will be a tri-service National Commemorative Event to mark the 25th anniversary of the liberation of the Falkland Islands.
