Switching on the Christmas lights

It’s christmas time again and to get everybody into that Festive feeling we have the Switching on the Christmas lights ceremony taking place this Friday. The procession will pass the front of The Abbey Hotel and includes a sleigh pulled by reindeer parading our celebrity guest, Su Pollard who will be turning on the Christmas lights. There are two processions during which you can witness the beautiful lantern parade with the local children displaying their own home-made lanterns. 32 Days till Christmas

As like every year the race is now on for Christmas, with everybody booking for parties and wondering what to wear or what not to wear as the case maybe !. The Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross, is at it’s busiest with bookings and parties with the first party due on the 1st December although for us and for most of the hospitality trade Christmas started back in July. Winter is here…

It may be early, but it is coming around to that time of year again! It is almost Winter, and almost time for a certain Mr. Claus to pay us good children a visit.Mind you, I say almost winter but it certainly was this Sunday as Malvern received its first snowfall of the season, not merely a light dusting but nice enough fall to see the kids out making snowmen and having some fun!!
