The Rembrandt Hotel – Long Service Awards

I am Ada Okpetu and I have worked at The Rembrandt Hotel in Knightsbridge for OVER 20 Years!. It was my time to collect my long service award on the 18th March 2011, not only was I being taken out for dinner and a presentation I was also staying at the hotel.  I checked in a 3pm to get ready for the 6:30pm start (a long time to get ready I know but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t late and that I looked good!) Isn’t Gerrards Cross too far out of London? Where am I?

The answer to that is no, and in a great location!. I’ve recently located from The North of England and wondered if I had made the right choice! I thought I was lost and in the middle of nowhere. Treat yourself with a Malvern Pudding

Britain has a fantastic wealth of recipes for puddings, though sadly many of them are disappearing as we become ever more health conscious – they tend to be filling and calorific – and (foolishly) as fewer of us are happy to spend time in the kitchen.
