Summer

Summer for me always invokes memories of sitting on a veranda in a hot tropical country sipping cocktails, eating good food and watching the world go by.  My better half hails from the sunny Mediterranean, a wonderful place called San Severo on the south-east coast of Italy and we often holiday there or around Turin and whilst we can’t offer those climates here at The Bull, we can offer you great food and cocktails!  During the Summer months we will be hosting BBQ Sundays from the 10th of July and then every other Sunday until the end of the Season....

Walking in the hills

Waking up to the birds singing on a Sunday morning slightly hung-over isn’t always a good feeling but seeing that the sun was shining and no clouds in the sky it lead into a long discussion with my boyfriend on how to spend our day. We finally decided to take his dog for a walk, because Spike doesn’t live us we went to collect him, which then turned into another 30 minute discussion of where to take him. The pen is mightier than the sword … or is it discuss

The hotel industry has changed considerably since the invention of the internet with everybody’s views and experiences visible on the review websites and not a chance for the hotel concerned to reply to the review. So it got me thinking.. is the pen mightier than the sword???
