My Sarova adventure – The Rembrandt
Hello everyone! And welcome to the Sarova Blog!
Before I start writing my first blog entry, I think it would be a good idea if I gave you a bit of information on my background! Well, my name is Evi and I am the new Sarova Group Marketing Manager. I am a 28 year-old Greek woman with great love for chocolate. I am proud to be a member of the Sarova family, and through this blog I would like to show you what Sarova and its people is all about.
All Sarova employees get to write on this blog. From the Front of House Assistant of the Rembrandt Hotel, to the General Manager of the Sir Christopher Wren, and from the Meetings & Events Executive of the Bull Hotel, to the Sales Manager of the Abbey; everyone share their stories. And we all hope you enjoy them!
In December, I had the privilege to visit all Sarova hotels and I was enthralled by each one of them. Each hotel has a unique ambiance, but they all are equally beautiful. Today, I will share my Rembrandt experience with you.
The Rembrandt (http://www.sarova.com/rembrandt/) is located in Knightsbridge, right opposite the Victoria & Albert museum, a 5-minute walk from South Kensington station. Its central location makes it ideal for those who want to visit London, do some sightseeing and shopping. Built in the 1900s as luxury apartments for Harrods, its rooms are very stylish. But for me, the Rembrandt is a gem because of its people. Every day I enter the hotel (I am based at the Rembrandt) I have the beautiful ladies at reception smile at me. Not to mention, Pablo greets me in Spanish ‘Hola señorita! Como estas?” A smile in the morning makes my whole day! Oh, and the Nachos at the 1606 Lounge Bar. You have to try the Nachos!
To burn the delicious Nachos I have to spend an hour on the treadmill at Aquilla, the hotel’s health and fitness club. http://www.sarova.com/aquilla/
Love,
Evi
