Yummy Delights at Sir Christopher Wren

I’m Maciej, Food and Beverage Manager at Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa.
I’ve been with the company for nearly a year now and I have to say that the hotel has gone through a massive transformation since I’ve started. If you have never been here before you definitely have to visit. There is nothing like Traditional Afternoon Tea on our terrace with great views of the River Thames, and it’s only £14.95.
You can enjoy the sunshine for the whole day and then join us for dinner in our rosette restaurant. Now that the weather is warm and sunny, I think visiting our terrace for a drink or meal is a ‘must’.
Our Head Chef, Nenad Bibic, has created a very elegant and contemporary menu and I think everyone will find something to their liking.
Personally, I would start with Brixham Scallops with Wilted Wild Garlic Leafs and Lime Beurre Blanc, followed by Roasted Stone Sea Bass with Green Asparagus, Wild Mushroom Fricassee and Vermouth Sauce. For dessert definitely Swiss Sponge with Smooth White Chocolate, Strawberry Compote and Almond Ice Cream.
At the moment we are preparing for the Horseshow week, as it is one of the biggest events in Windsor.
Next month everyone here will celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This is a very good occasion to visit our town and pop into our hotel for some Pimm’s and Strawberries with Cream.
