The Sir Christopher Wren Staff at its Best!
Hello All,
My name is Sarah-Jane Nicholls and I am the Human Resources Manager at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa. My job is to make sure that I find the best team possible to service our guests (and also to make sure that we have fun doing it!)
So what have the Wren staff been up to recently? Well our team have been busy!
On 21st February some of our team joined the Windsor Pancake Flipping competition for Shrove Tuesday. We came away from the event winners – not of the racing but for the BEST DRESSED Team! See our fun outfits and picture with the Windsor Mayor who presented us with our shield.
Well done to Jose, Tomasz, Thorsten and Holly – the Wren’s Wenches!
This week has been all about cakes! On Monday the 23rd our Staff Committee baked cakes, cookies and slices to raise funds for our next event. All our team members were happy to part with their money and treat themselves to the delightful afternoon tea that was presented. Off to the gym for us next week!
Each month we celebrate our successes and congratulate our team for their hard work! Towards the end of April we held our monthly Staff Appreciation meeting and I was happy to present Lukas Sroka as Employee of the Month. Lukas is one of our Front of House porters who consistently has a smile on his face and warmly welcomes each of our guests to the hotel. Congratulations to you Lukas!
