Last weekend was the Upton Jazz festival on Fish Meadow, the home of the festival. The ground was said a week ago to be in ‘good shape’ but after the recent downpour over the past few weeks it was touch and go. But once again the message was: “don’t forget your wellies”. With a packed programme of over 12 hours of live music each day, it is a must weekend in the calendar of the jazz festivals.
