New Faces at Sir Christopher Wren
Well Windsor has been the place to be and be seen since I have last blogged.
The Diamond Jubilee, Ascot and the Royal Regatta have been some of the highlights over the past few weeks.
Our team have worked very hard to accommodate every guest request from ‘Where can I buy a yellow hat’ to ‘Where can I learn how to ride a horse?’
But it’s not just the front line staff that have been busy – I have been busy too with recruitment and inductions over the past month.
Let me introduce you to some of the new faces in the Wren’s team.
We have welcomed Paulina Olszynska as our Head Housekeeper who has added some more casuals to our hard working housekeeping team.
Trinity Tuttle has joined our Revenue team as Revenue Co-ordinator, you may get to speak to her on the phone. If you dare – ask her about the New Zealand Rugby team!
Matthew Berry joins our Wrens Club as Club Manager. Matt is full of great ideas to get our members fighting fit and ready for the summer holidays!
Karl Czarnecki has joined us in our Finance team as Hotel Controller – making sure all our banking is 100%!
Maintenance (never to be left out) has a new Manager – Adam Brason. His passion is architecture and history so a perfect fit for our heritage listed buildings.
And last but no means least – we have a new Head Receptionist! Tina Soni has joined the Wrens team from the Rembrandt. This is her first Head Receptionist role and we are very lucky to have her here at the Wren.
Finally we had our Staff Appreciation afternoon tea on Friday and we announced our Employee of the Month for May 2012. It is deservedly won by Jacek Kozlowski one of our Front of House porters. Jacek won as he is always willing to help guests with a chirpy smile and if you are lucky you may just catch him singing while he works. Jacek well done for your hard work over the past month – Keep it up!
Until I next time,
Sarah-Jane
