When The Rembrandt HR Team is Training…
A big post-Olympics hello from the Rembrandt HR team! Whilst the hotel has been busy preparing and fulfilling the needs of our guests for the Olympics, it has been a busy time for team HR too. We have had a new HR Manager and we have been integrating him into the team, we have been following the games and discussing the merits of the opening and closing shows. From the HR team and The Rembrandt we applaud the success of the GB team and all the athletes who took part!
This is all very inspiring and for a few months now, I have been trying to go to Aquilla every morning… and it is tough! Before I get to work at 9 o’clock, I have a forty-five minutes workout starting with 20 minutes of cardio followed by various exercises in the weight area.
Although, the health club has now three brand new treadmills with loads of options, I still go for my favourite cardio exercise, the cross trainer, as I think it is a lot funkier to move on the playlist that the Aquilla staff has made up! Then I make a bunch of crunches and reps. There is, as well, a brand new machine to do some strengths exercises, but I am just too shy to use it yet, even though the staff are always happy to teach new exercises!
In the Team HR, however, while we are awaiting the Paralympics events, we have been working on alternative Olympics games, just for fun! Have you thought about pedalo racing, who can stay on the yellow banana behind the speed boat longest, 5000 metres three legged race and our particular favourite child’s tricycle racing, down hill of course! We hope you will get into the spirit and add your own favourites. Feel free to ask for us when you next stay, we are happy to say hello to our guests and see you in Aquilla!
