HR Happenings in Windsor
G’day to you all!
I love my job in the hotel, who wouldn’t! I am so lucky to see staff grow and develop into phenomenal service providers with their manager’s guidance. Some of the perks of my job is helping others develop their skills.
For example this month I have been lucky enough to assist our spa team develop their skills in their new Decleor perfect self tan. In 1 hour I went from very, very pale to sun kissed, as if I had been in the Caribbean for a week. What a treat!
And at only £55 for a 55 minute exfoliation and tan (with a little massage) it’s much cheaper than going to the Caribbean! Holly, our Club Supervisor did a great job and I felt a million pounds.
With watching the team grow I also get to reward our shining stars. Since the last time I blogged we have awarded 2 employees of the month. In June the award went to Ani Marques. Ani is one of our Wren’s Club receptionists. She always has a bright smile on her face and is always doing all that she can to make all her guests feel welcome and relaxed. Ani is a real asset to the Spa team and be sure to congratulate her when you see her.
Our July employee of the month has been awarded to Patryk Wozniak. Patryk is one of our linen porters who’s main job is to make sure that all of the linen is where it needs to be in our hotel – this is not an easy task here in Windsor. In July, Patryk covered extra shifts and even helped out the Front of House team when they got busy, all with a smile on his face! A true Sarova star!
Congratulations to both of you – You are both deserving winners.
Until next time,
Sarah-Jane
