October Events in Windsor
Hello everyone!
My name’s Alex and I am the newly appointed Head Receptionist at Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa. It’s a very exciting time to be in Windsor at the moment, with many seasonal events to participate in and enjoy.
October brings us a very special day on Tuesday the 9th as Her Royal Highness The Queen unveils a brand new statue in the King Edward Court shopping centre, just a short walk from our hotel! It’s a great chance to catch a rare sight of the monarch and perhaps indulge in some retail therapy.
Another popular annual event is the spectacular fireworks show at Legoland Windsor, which takes place on 27th and 28th October. The always-impressive display sets the standard high with astounding pyrotechnics year-on-year; it’s a fantastic family day and night out.
