Christmas Events in Windsor

It’s Christmas time again and there are lots of things to enjoy around Windsor this month.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a pantomime and this year the Theatre Royal is performing “Jack and the Beanstalk”, starring Matthew Kelly and Britt Ekland; always a great family day out.
Carol’s on the hill will be taking place on the 14th of December. A lovely evening of carols is taking place outside the castle with the castle being illuminated, what a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit.
The Windsor farmers market is a great way to spend a morning. They have around 25 stalls, selling locally produced meat and freshly caught fish. This takes place on 9th December at Alexandra Gardens.
Maybe a carriage ride around the royal landscape would add a special touch to your day. Prices range from £45.00 to £150.00 and a private drive starts from £120.00.
The ice rink returns to Alexandra Gardens this year from Saturday 8th December. It is always very popular with all ages and has a great Christmas atmosphere and keeps the kids happy for a while.
