What’s up this February
Hello Everyone,
Can you believe that it is February already?! Time fly’s so quickly. It was not so long ago that we were singing Christmas carols and drinking mulled wine.
It was very sad to say goodbye to all our lovely Christmas decorations, but it is closer and closer to spring and that means lots of sun (if we are lucky) and a relaxing time on our beautiful terrace.
Until then we have many exciting events in the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel.
One definitely worth mentioning is our Valentines Dinner. This year we have prepared an excellent 4 course menu with a glass of Champagne on arrival that is available on the 14th, 15th and 16th February. Just imagine spending a romantic weekend with your other half in one of the best hotels in Windsor and enjoying a fantastic dinner overlooking the river Thames. It doesn’t get much better than this. It is still time to book!
One of the other interesting events in Windsor in February was the annual Pancake race and as every year we were racing as one of 17 teams.
Last year we proudly won the best costume award, this year we unfortunately only got through to the semi finals, but it was lots of fun. We were full of enthusiasm and humour and despite the freezing cold, our team was fighting to the end. I can tell you that nothing beats four guys dressed as elderly women with full make up on. So for me we were the Winners.
