Employee of The Year
Hello, Czesc, Goeie More, Guten Tag, Ciao, Ola to you all.
Every year we say a big THANK YOU to all of the staff by hosting a party in their honour and awarding our employee of the year.
Our recent party was Bond, James Bond theme and surprisingly many of the staff arrived in fancy dress. We had a ninja, Anya Amasova, Baron Samedi with full black and white face, an astronaut and Dr. No as well as many handsome James Bond look alikes!
The excitement was high as our employee of the year candidates were anxious to hear who had won the big prize. The nominees were read out and our three front runners were announced. They were Jose Pestana from our Restaurant team, Pawel Cwierz from our Front of House team and Gosia Tomaszewicz our Breakfast supervisor.
The room fell silent with anticipation of the winner. Our Employee of the Year for 2012 was announced to be Gosia Tomaszewicz for outstanding efforts over the past 12 months. She was so shocked to have won that she asked for a recount!
Gosia is a hard working member of the restaurant team and she prides herself on ensuring that all guests enjoy their breakfast leaving in the morning with a smile on their face. Gosia always goes out of her way to train new members of staff and in 2012 she gained her train the trainer certificate.
We celebrated Gosia’s success by dancing the night away and by the end of the night everyone had sore feet but with big smiles.
Congratulations to Gosia and well done to all the staff for their hard work in 2012.
