Spring is now upon us; (although some may say different due to the weather we have been having) and Malvern is in full swing ready for the upcoming events such as The Malvern Spring Gardening show at The Three Counties Showground from the 9th -12th May, which blossoms every year and exceeds the expectations of keen and amateur gardeners. It boasts amazing show gardens and stalls for everyone to come and have a look at and to see what the RHS show has to offer.
The keen walkers are out come rain or shine and are always seeking new paths to explore. The Malvern Walking Festival runs from the 25th May to 2nd June and explores all areas and different walks. If you only have a morning or afternoon to spare then there’s nothing more relaxing then seeing the sights from the Malvern Hills, on a clear day you can see for miles and its lovely for families who can bring a picnic to enjoy after all their hard work of climbing to the top of the Beacon which is the highest point of the hills.
Here at The Abbey Hotel we have some great breaks to offer. The Walking break is excellent for anyone wanting to explore and relax: this includes a 2 night stay, dinner each night with half a bottle of wine per person on the first night, full English breakfast as well as packed lunch per person on both days and personal walking maps of the Malvern Hills.
If you’re planning a visit to Malvern in the spring or summer then there’s plenty for everyone to see and do, we may only be a small town but that’s what makes Malvern idyllic and family friendly, come and explore what Malvern has to offer.
