Dot Turley has been with The Abbey for the past thirty seven years, and is currently our head housekeeper. Through her illustrious career at The Abbey; Dot has overseen our restaurant operations and our conferencing facilities; until she finally settled within the housekeeping department. Refurbishment update from the Bull Hotel

In January the Bull started the main change in its investment for the future. A multi-million pound project, which will include: new bedrooms, a private dining room, and a new restaurant and conservatory. The project is really starting to take shape as 2008 is fast approaching. Last week the scaffolding was pealed away to reveal the exciting future of the Bull. As the external parts of the building are finishing contractors appear daily to work through the winter days in order to finish the project on time. Diwali-on-the-Square

Trafalgar Square will be host to celebrations marking Diwali, the Festival of Light, on Sunday 28 October.
