The sun has finally got his hat on and is coming out to play in Windsor. On April 30th, Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh welcomed His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. In anticipation of the arrival the streets were filled with people waving flags and waiting for the special party to arrive. Hi all, Hope you had a good Easter and you are looking forward to spring, when it finally arrives. Back in February’s blog I wrote about the changes at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa since Sarova took over two years ago, and mentioned the refurbishment of the Riverside building. Hi all, My name is Paulina and I am the head housekeeper at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa. Since the Wren was bought by the Sarova group in 2011, the property has changed unrecognizably. In 2011 all Public Areas including Thames View Restaurant & Bar, Oak Room, Sienna Room and Drawing Room were refurbished and upgraded with new furniture. Hello, Czesc, Goeie More, Guten Tag, Ciao, Ola to you all. Every year we say a big THANK YOU to all of the staff by hosting a party in their honour and awarding our employee of the year.
