The weather is finally picking up and the sun is shining, which means only one thing…  A walk on the Malvern Hills! The Hills divide the Counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire with the rolling hills and fields of Herefordshire to the West and the flatter plains of the Severn Valley to the East. Summer of Festivals

Last weekend was the Upton Jazz festival on Fish Meadow, the home of the festival. The ground was said a week ago to be in ‘good shape’ but after the recent downpour over the past few weeks it was touch and go. But once again the message was: “don’t forget your wellies”. With a packed programme of over 12 hours of live music each day, it is a must weekend in the calendar of the jazz festivals.  The next event is the Upton Blues festival on 20th and 22nd of July, Britain’s biggest free blues festival with over 90 performances...

The Olympic Flame in Worcester

We are very proud that Worcester was chosen as one of the 66 overnight stops of the Olympic Torch relay in the UK. On 24th of May, thousands of people gathered in the streets of Worcester to welcome the Olympic Torch. In the evening, the Cricket Club at New Road hosted an amazing evening with great entertainment, which ended with the performance of Labrinth and Twist & Pulse. Everyone was still celebrating on the 25th. Streets were filled with people, all waving their Union Jack flags. Children were allowed to go to school later than normal to not miss this...
