Black & White Night at The Rembrandt

On Friday 27th February, staff from the Rembrandt Hotel gathered in the Kings Suite to enjoy their annual Staff Party, which this year had a suave, yet not stuffy dichromatic theme. Colourful uniforms, office shirts and blouses were traded in for chic, sophisticated (and in some cases sexy!) suits and frocks. The Kings Suite and surrounding areas were decorated with a splendid array of black and white balloons, chair covers, table cloths and backdrops, featuring sultry silhouettes of salsa dancers to create a refined yet funky party mood. South Kensington – my favourite area!

Moving to London from Manchester, where I grew up (and lived a pretty sheltered life) was a challenge to say the least. I clearly remember the first time I made the drive to London. Supporting UK tourism…

I recently went on holiday to Brazil and although it already seems like ages ago, it was only last month. Brazil, at this time of the year, is adorable and it was such a pleasure to see old friends that I met while studying there.
